Fighting the New World Order

http://www.youtube.com/user/aenfroy87

People wake up!!!! I, along with a handful of people, have been voicing concerns about what is happening to our freedoms as the political elite, both Democrats and Republicans, are slowly passing bills behind our backs, and even if front of our eyes, that are taking our freedoms away.

I have been targeted before, but now as I am about to embark on a huge campaign of awareness, along with others who care about our nation, "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and care about "LIBERTY, JUSTICE and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS, I will be labeled and targeted by many elites. These people of the elite club do not want anyone to ruffle their feathers or rain on their parade, and will go to any lengths to stop people like myself who think and speak against them.

MY FRIEND'S THOUGHTS

This thought comes from a good friend.

Here is something I want you to put on your blog.

The one thing every American of my generation and the previous generation is happening right now. Socialism. I will be the first to say that something needs to be done about our current health care system which seems to cover nothing. And without a referral you cannot get treatment for in grown toenail. People are quick to blame greed and big business and to a point they are correct.

However, the next time you wish to place blame on greed or our wonderful elected official, look in the mirror and blame yourself. The american tax-payer/voter. Why, because my friends we have gotten very complacent when it comes to anything that we think will not affect us. Guess what, it does.

People are quick to say things in regards to our founding fathers whether it be that their thoughts don't reflect the times or with interpratations of their words. I won't debate tdhose items but I will say that they had the forsight to set up things as checks and balances. Reality check, everyones' balance is off!

We have allowed things to get out of hand. There used to be a law or restriction that said monoplies were not allowed. Has anyone looked at the pharmaceutical companies? What once was something like 25 is now down to five or less. This is why persciptions are so expensive. Look at the gas prices. Not because of a war but because ther is only 2 major compaines, Texaco-Shell and ExxonMobile.

A friend once told me that free enterprise is a good thing and competition was healthy. But in order for there to be competition, the must be some one to compete with in the same business. Look at the banking industry, mortgage and yes car industry. At one point, one bank bought another and the next day, they were in turn bought by some one else. I wonder how many foreign companies now own American or have a controlling interest in an American business?

So the next time you here about some business wanting to buy another, ask yourself "how will it affect me?" I bet you'll amaze yourself with the answer.

As you and I have discussed, Tim, "we the people" are at fault.

A MESSAGE FROM MY CONGRESSMAN

June 26, 2009

Dear Friend,

Earlier this week, I used my position as Chairmen of the Management, Investigations and Oversight sub-committee of the Homeland Security committee to help ensure that our domestic safety remains a top priority. I voted for critical investments in programs that will keep all Americans safe and secure. The Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act specifically emphasizes programs that secure our borders, ports and airports, and help train local first responders and emergency personnel. To maintain fiscal responsibility, the bill also eliminates 17 programs and cuts funding for another 40 programs while making certain that the most effective programs and security initiatives are fully supported.

As someone who still wears the uniform and a father of five children, you can be sure that the security of this nation is priority number one for me. This legislation is tightly focused on securing our borders, training our local first responders and protecting the American people. These are not political issues; they are core values that we all share.

The bill provides our first responders with the equipment and training they need to remain on the cutting edge of security technology and procedure. It includes $3.55 billion in grants for local municipalities to protect critical infrastructure in high-threat areas, help local fire departments and upgrade central command facilities.

Our local firefighters, police officers and emergency medical personnel are our first line of defense in an emergency. They must have the best training and equipment to manage crises and effectively keep us secure. The investments in this bill give our first responders the tools and resources they need and reaffirm our commitment to their incredible important and self-sacrificing work.

The bill also significantly boosts our efforts to increase security along our borders. There are additional investments to combat the violence, drug smuggling and weapons smuggling currently occurring on the border. In addition, the bill invests in improving aviation security, port security and transit security. Among the many important programs, these funds will be used to purchase and install the latest explosive detection systems at airports nationwide and develop and deploy systems to screen cargo containers for weapons and nuclear materials.

This legislation protects Americans and prepares our nation for 21st century security challenges. It allows us to better prevent threats and attacks, and prepare and plan for emergencies. It also provides unprecedented transparency, accountability and fiscal discipline by streamlining and cutting programs while remaining focused on the all important goal of protecting our homeland.

As we approach the 4th of July, please know that I am working hard everyday to find new and better ways to keep this country safe for your family, my family and all American families for generations to come.

Sincerely,Christopher P. CarneyMember of Congress

A MESSAGE FROM MY CONGRESSMAN

June 19, 2009

I had to bold the phrase "fiscal conservative" because if it was true my Congressman would have stood up, if he had the guts, and demand that the President along with the rest of Socialist Elite Democrats, stop the spending and be "FISCAL CONSERVATIVE"

Dear Friend,

This week, I was pleased to become an original cosponsor of H.R. 2920, the "Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2009". The PAYGO bill introduced this week is similar to the statutory PAYGO law that was in place in the 1990s, which helped turn massive deficits into record surpluses. The prior administration allowed these rules to expire in 2002, contributing to the dramatic turnaround of a projected surplus of $5.6 trillion to projected deficits of more than $11 trillion.

As you know, I came to Congress as a fiscal conservative because I believe that hard-working taxpayers deserve serious fiscal discipline when their money is being spent. It is time to break the cycle of debt-spending and get out nation's budget under control. By restoring the 'pay-as-you-go' principle, we are returning to the basic rule that guides every family budget: you don't spend a dollar you don't have.

The PAYGO legislation requires Congress to offset federal spending with savings elsewhere in the budget. If Congress overspends its budget and the net effect would increase the deficit, then the PAYGO bill would require an across-the-board reduction in certain mandatory programs. The bill has over 155 co-sponsors in the House and is a common-sense way to keep our government spending under control.

You can never have too much accountability when you are talking about the American taxpayer's hard-earned money and this bill holds the Congress accountable for not spending what we don't have. Families are expected to pay their bills, and government should do the same.

Government cannot in good conscious ask the American people to do what it is unwilling or unable to do itself, particularly in the wake of the recent financial crisis. As we all work together to spend reasonably, borrow responsibly and get our economy growing again, it is important for everyone to play by the same rules.

For that reason, among others, I am member of the fiscally conservative Blue Dog Coalition in Congress. We have regularly introduced and supported legislation aimed at cutting waste, fraud and abuse in our federal government to lower our deficit, curtail our spending and strengthen our economy.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact my office for more information about this, or any other legislation or issue.

Thank you all and have a wonderful weekend enjoying the first days of summer!

Sincerely,Christopher P. CarneyMember of Congress

COMMON SENSE

Sure profits are good, and that is the purpose of business, BUT!!! The profits earned need to distributed wisely, so the workers have a living wage, the business can invest in new technologies, and the greedy CEOs can have some pocket change as well. In order for everyone to survive and move forward in the years ahead, humanity must learn the concept of sharing and leave the selfishness and greed behind.
The question is not where we are, but what direction we are heading, and with that in mind, tomorrow begins today in making people aware, that the we have two choices to make: "United States of America, Revolution or Evolution", and reality is that the U.S needs, and must evolve in order to move forward. Selfishness, greed must be replaced by common sense and a concept of fairness and sharing.
I am not against making profits, and I am sure I will be called all kinds of anti-American or Socialist, but lets face reality, do the CEOs really need, let's say a figure, $t10 million dollars a year in salary? Can they not live on $5 million a year and put the rest back into payroll and create a living wage?

BYE BYE DOLLAR

SPECIAL DRAWING RIGHTS (SDR)

This is going to be the new reserve currency. Just wait and see!!!

Just click on the link above and you will see what I have been talking about!

On June 15, 16, 2009, Monday and Tuesday, the pillars of freedom and justice, Russia, China, Brazil, Pakistan, India, and even Iran, will be getting together have a group hug as they salivate at the thought the IMF, International Monetary Fund, is pushing hard to create a new reserve currency called the SDR. The nations mentioned will be meeting in Yekateriburg, Russia, and is called the Shanghai Cooperation.

Little or no mention of this is in the media, and once again I am ahead of the curve.

Once the meeting is over I will be writting about the outcome. STAY TUNED!
ONCE AGAIN THE ACLU ALONG WITH THE LEFT LIBERAL ELITE ARE IMPOSING THEIR WILL ON AMERICA!

Subj: I am honored to do this.

THANK GOD FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE AND ARE FAITHFULLY SERVING OUR COUNTRY!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!!! I AM HONORED TO DO THIS.

Did you know that the ACLU has filed a suit to have all military cross-shaped headstones removed and another suit to end prayer from the military completely. They're making great progress. The Navy Chaplains can no longer mention Jesus' name in prayer thanks to the retched ACLU and our new administration. I'm not breaking this one. If I get it a 1000 times, I'll forward it a 1000 times! Let us pray... Prayer chain for our Military... Don't break it!

Please send this on after a short prayer.. Prayer for our soldiers Don't break it! Prayer:

'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

Prayer Request:

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world. There is nothing attached. Just send this to people in your address book. Do not let it stop with you. Of all the gifts you could give a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, & others deployed in harm's way, prayer is the very best one.

GOD BLESS YOU FOR PASSING IT ON!

U.S UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE

I received this E-mail this morning, and it makes you wake up and smell the coffee!

In England, anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs, stents or bypass because it is not covered as being too expensive and not needed. I got this today and am sending it on. If Obama's plans in other areas don't scare you this should. Looks like Obama is sure keeping his word ****CHANGES. We better have out funerals paid up, may be needing it sooner rather than later with no Dr's on our side to keep us healthy. What will this world be like in another 20 YEARS WHEN OUR KIDS ARE READY FOR RETIREMENT? SAD!!! Please do not let Obama sign senior death warrants. Everybody that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows somebody that is. Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the "stimulus" bill includes Provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens.. The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement. Bloomberg: Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them." If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes. Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level.... We have an election coming up in one year and nine months. We have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and it allies have begun and in the interim, we can make their lives miserable. Lets do it! If you disagree, don't do anything

SPECIAL DRAWING RIGHTS (SDR)

This is going to be the new reserve currency. Just wait and see!!!

A Factsheet - February 2009
Special Drawing Rights (SDRs)

The SDR is an international reserve asset, created by the IMF in 1969 to supplement the existing official reserves of member countries. SDRs are allocated to member countries in proportion to their IMF quotas. The SDR also serves as the unit of account of the IMF and some other international organizations. Its value is based on a basket of key international currencies.
Why was the SDR created and what is it used for today?
The Special Drawing Right (SDR) was created by the IMF in 1969 to support the Bretton Woods fixed exchange rate system. A country participating in this system needed official reserves—government or central bank holdings of gold and widely accepted foreign currencies—that could be used to purchase the domestic currency in world foreign exchange markets, as required to maintain its exchange rate. But the international supply of two key reserve assets— gold and the U.S. dollar—proved inadequate for supporting the expansion of world trade and financial development that was taking place. Therefore, the international community decided to create a new international reserve asset under the auspices of the IMF.
However, only a few years later, the Bretton Woods system collapsed and the major currencies shifted to a floating exchange rate regime. In addition, the growth in international capital markets facilitated borrowing by creditworthy governments. Both of these developments lessened the need for SDRs.
Today, the SDR has only limited use as a reserve asset, and its main function is to serve as the unit of account of the IMF and some other international organizations. The SDR is neither a currency, nor a claim on the IMF. Rather, it is a potential claim on the freely usable currencies of IMF members. Holders of SDRs can obtain these currencies in exchange for their SDRs in two ways: first, through the arrangement of voluntary exchanges between members; and second, by the IMF designating members with strong external positions to purchase SDRs from members with weak external positions.
SDR valuation
The value of the SDR was initially defined as equivalent to 0.888671 grams of fine gold—which, at the time, was also equivalent to one U.S. dollar. After the collapse of the Bretton Woods system in 1973, however, the SDR was redefined as a basket of currencies, today consisting of the euro, Japanese yen, pound sterling, and U.S. dollar. The U.S. dollar-value of the SDR is posted daily on the IMF's website. It is calculated as the sum of specific amounts of the four currencies valued in U.S. dollars, on the basis of exchange rates quoted at noon each day in the London market.
The basket composition is reviewed every five years to ensure that it reflects the relative importance of currencies in the world's trading and financial systems. In the most recent review in November 2005, the weights of the currencies in the SDR basket were revised based on the value of the exports of goods and services and the amount of reserves denominated in the respective currencies which were held by other members of the IMF. These changes became effective on January 1, 2006. The next review by the Executive Board will take place in late 2010.
The SDR interest rate
The SDR interest rate provides the basis for calculating the interest charged to members on regular (non-concessional) IMF loans, the interest paid and charged to members on their SDR holdings, and the interest paid to members on a portion of their quota subscriptions. The SDR interest rate is determined weekly and is based on a weighted average of representative interest rates on short-term debt in the money markets of the SDR basket currencies.
SDR allocations
Under its Articles of Agreement, the IMF may allocate SDRs to members in proportion to their IMF quotas. Such an allocation provides each member with a costless asset on which interest is neither earned nor paid. However, if a member's SDR holdings rise above its allocation, it earns interest on the excess; conversely, if it holds fewer SDRs than allocated, it pays interest on the shortfall. The Articles of Agreement also allow for cancellations of SDRs, but this provision has never been used. The IMF cannot allocate SDRs to itself.
There are two kinds of allocations:
General allocations of SDRs have to be based on a long-term global need to supplement existing reserve assets. General allocations are considered every five years, although decisions to allocate SDRs have been made only twice. The first allocation was for a total amount of SDR 9.3 billion, distributed in 1970-72. The second allocation was distributed in 1979-81 and brought the cumulative total of SDR allocations to SDR 21.4 billion.
A proposal for a special one-time allocation of SDRs was approved by the IMF's Board of Governors in September 1997 through the proposed Fourth Amendment of the Articles of Agreement. This allocation would double cumulative SDR allocations to SDR 42.8 billion. Its intent is to enable all members of the IMF to participate in the SDR system on an equitable basis and correct for the fact that countries that joined the Fund after 1981—more than one fifth of the current IMF membership—have never received an SDR allocation. The Fourth Amendment will become effective when three fifths of the IMF membership (111 members) with 85 percent of the total voting power accept it. Currently, 131 members with 77.68 percent of total voting power had accepted the proposed amendment. Approval by the United States, with 16.75 percent of total votes, would put the amendment into effect.

A MESSAGE FROM MY CONGRESSMAN

June 12, 2009

Dear Friend,

Small businesses drive our economy and I am committed to fighting for them in Congress and making sure they have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Many small business owners are not aware that they can compete for federal and state government contracting opportunities. That is why I hosted a Small Business Contracting Seminar this past Monday so that our local business owners could obtain the skills and resources to compete for these contracts. Small businesses employ nearly 50 percent of Pennsylvania's workforce and created 70 percent of all new jobs in the past decade. The information that area businesses will receive by attending this seminar could prove invaluable to their individual business and to our overall economy.
The Small Business Contracting Seminar was hosted by Keystone College and the speakers included:
. Stan Soloway, President, Professional Services Council
. David C. Dickson, District Director of the Small Business Administration
. Mike Star, Manager, Supplier Development and Outreach Department of General Services, Bureau of Procurement
. Kevin Boshears, Director of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization for the Department of Homeland Security
. Timothy Foreman, Director, Navy Office of Small Business Programs
. Jeff Box, President of NEPA Alliance and Karen Ostroskie, Government Procurement Manager at NEPA Alliance
. Maureen Dispenza, Director of the WyomingCounty Chamber of Commerce
. Austin Burke, President of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce

Small businesses get lessons in landing government work
The Wilkes-Barre Citizens' Voice - June 9, 2009
BY JAMES HAGGERTY
LAPLUME - Nick Conklin drove 64 miles Monday morning to learn how to steer through the maze of government contracting.
"It's about who and where and how to contact," said Mr. Conklin, an account manager at Clarion Safety Systems, a Milford company that manufactures safety labels and signs. "With government, it's different, so you have to learn how to network."
About 125 people turned out at Keystone College for a small-business seminar on public contracting that was sponsored by U.S. Rep. Chris Carney, D-10, Dimock Twp. Participants learned about registering with agencies, seeking bidding opportunities and organizations that can help them.
"The market is sizable, but it's often difficult to penetrate and navigate," said Alan Chvotkin, vice president and counsel at the Professional Services Council, a government services trade group based in Arlington, Va.
The federal government awarded $500 billion in contracts in fiscal 2008, but only about 1 percent of the nation's 27 million small businesses took part, said David Dickson, district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
"You have a huge target of opportunity here," said Mr. Dickson, whose office is in King of Prussia. "You need to know where you fit in. You've got to do your homework."
Attendees were instructed on government contracting regulations and requirements and about Internet sites to monitor for contract opportunities.
Many businesses should get professional help to secure government work, Mr. Chvotkin said.

As always, please contact my office for more information regarding the small business seminar or any other issue of interest or concern to you. Also, please remember that this Sunday June 14, 2009 is Flag Day and the official kick-off of National Flag Week. So please remember to fly your flags with pride and take a moment to reflect on the struggles, the freedom and the great democracy that our flag represents.

Sincerely

SWINE FLU ALERT

Release Date: June 11, 2009

For Immediate ReleaseOffice of the Press SecretaryContact: 202-282-8010Department of Health and Human Services, 202-690-6343

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano issued the following statements today in response to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) decision to raise the pandemic threat level on the novel H1N1 virus.
“Today’s decision by the WHO was expected and doesn’t change what we have been doing here in the United States to prepare for and respond to this public health challenge. Once we saw how fast this virus was spreading, we activated our pandemic plans and started doing all the things we needed to do to keep the public as safe and secure as possible,” said Secretary Sebelius. “What this declaration does do is remind the world that flu viruses like H1N1 need to be taken seriously. Although we have not seen large numbers of severe cases in this country so far, things could possibly be very different in the fall, especially if things change in the Southern Hemisphere, and we need to start preparing now in order to be ready for a possible H1N1 immunization campaign starting in late September.”
“We responded to the H1N1 outbreak from the outset with the presumption that a pandemic was likely, so this decision comes as no surprise. We acted aggressively to stay ahead of the virus as it spread across the country. Now our challenge is to prepare for a possible return in the fall,” said Secretary Napolitano. “The Obama Administration has been working together across the government and will continue to do so over the weeks and months ahead to keep the American people safe. We are reaching out to our partners in state and local government, in school districts and the private sector to urge them to modify and update their pandemic plans. We are working with our scientists to test and prepare a possible vaccine. And we are working with governments around the world to share what we know and learn from what is happening in their countries.”
$15 Million for San Francisco International Airport AnnouncedThu, 11 Jun 2009 06:00:00 -0500
U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced approximately $15 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding for the construction of a new inline baggage handling system at San Francisco International Airport on June 11, 2009.

UNITED NATIONS DECLARED PANDEMIC

Ban stresses preparedness as UN declares global flu pandemic11 June 2009 –

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today cautioned against undue alarm while stressing the need for preparedness, as the United Nations health agency announced that the world is experiencing an influenza pandemic caused by the new A(H1N1) virus.
Earlier today, the head of the UN World Health Organization (WHO) said the agency has elevated its alert from phase 5 to phase 6, indicating a global pandemic outbreak.
“The world is now at the start of the 2009 influenza pandemic,” WHO Director-General Margaret Chan told reporters in Geneva. As of today, nearly 30,000 confirmed cases have been reported in 74 countries.
Mr. Ban noted that the raising of the alert level is “a formal statement about the geographic spread of disease” and “not in itself a cause for alarm.”
Speaking at his monthly news conference in New York, the Secretary-General said that though infectious, this new virus has so far not been as severe as had been feared and death rates have been low.”
“But … we must be watchful. We do not know what picture will emerge in the coming months,” he stated. “The virus has hit mainly developed countries. That is likely to soon change – and it will have consequences.
He noted that poorer countries have less developed health systems, people tend to seek health care later, and there is often a higher level of other diseases in the general population. In addition, the Southern Hemisphere is only now entering the flu season.
“We must therefore be prepared,” Mr. Ban stressed. “Our best response is a firm demonstration of global solidarity.”
The Secretary-General said he will convene a meeting of the Influenza Steering Committee in New York on Monday to “map out our immediate next steps.” This will be prior to the opening session of his Forum on Advancing Global Health in the Face of Crisis.
He pledged to work with national governments and WHO to ensure that the response to the pandemic is as well-coordinated and as effective as possible.
The Secretary-General highlighted that access to vaccines and anti-virals – in addition to antibiotics and other commodities – is crucial. At a meeting he convened with Dr. Chan last month in Geneva, more than two dozen pharmaceutical companies agreed to contribute part of their vaccine production to vulnerable nations, upon request by WHO.
Manufacturing of pandemic vaccines has already begun, and the first doses will be available in September 2009, Mr. Ban noted, adding that, at the same time, virus samples and other information about the disease must also be widely and openly shared.
It is also important to guard against “rash and discriminatory” action such as travel bans or trade restrictions, he stated, pointing out that the response to any pandemic must be grounded in science.
Noting that the impact will be felt far beyond the health sector and will require coordination on every front, the Secretary-General stressed the need to safeguard the interests of those who are most vulnerable.

AN AMERICAN

I Received this in my E-mail today and I like it!!!

Absolutely beautiful and well said...

Written by an Australian Dentist To Kill an American You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American. So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!) 'An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan. An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans. An American is Christian , or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that inAmerica they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in no religion...... For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.
An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness. An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.......... When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country! As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan .
The national symbol of America , The Statue ofLiberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America Some of them were working in the Twin Towersthe morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must.. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American. Please keep this going!Pass this around the World .Then pass it around again. It says it all, for all of us Please do not just delete. Pass it on first. Thanks!

Health Care Reform Debate Starting to Take Shape
After months of talk, legislation reforming the nation's health care system is beginning to emerge in Congress. What's apparent is that one of the major sticking points as Congress begins to debate reform plans is whether to create a public health insurance system, similar to Medicare, that competes with private insurers.

The advantage to a public plan is that it all but guarantees health insurance coverage to every American. The drawback is that its cost is unknown at the moment, and critics say it's a step toward a government-run health care system. Possibilities for financing a public option include forcing employers to pay into a fund for public insurance, taxing workers' health care benefits as income and changing tax laws to make it more difficult for the wealthy to write off charitable contributions.

President Barack Obama and most Congressional Democrats favor creating a public insurance plan. Many Republicans are opposed.

Should Americans be guaranteed health care coverage through a government-run, taxpayer-financed program?

While the restructuring of General Motors and Chrysler is getting most of the headlines, the auto industry is also pushing a bill, expected to hit the House floor this week, that would provide a $4,500 credit to people who trade in their old gas guzzlers for new, fuel-efficient models.

FUTURE OF AMERICA?

This is a sample of what is going to happen to our nation as we get ourselves deeper into debt and owe China and other nations our souls.

MONEY AND GREED

Sure profits are good, and that is the purpose of business, BUT!!! The profits earned need to distributed wisely, so the workers have a living wage, the business can invest in new technologies, and the greedy CEOs can have some pocket change as well. In order for everyone to survive and move forward in the years ahead, humanity must learn the concept of sharing and leave the selfishness and greed behind.
