JUST A REMINDER

Take a look at this and just remember elections in November 2010. U..S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises. They voted to NOT give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011. Your Medicare premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife. Over these same 2-years each Congress person will get $10,000 Do you feel SCREWED? Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., decrease? NO WAY. Congress received a raise and has better health and retirement benefits than you or I. Why should they care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. You obviously are too stupid or don't care. Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barnie, et al, care about you? Send the message to these individuals --- "YOU'RE FIRED!" THE CAMPAIGN SEASON BEGINS

Seeing all of these signs along the many roads I travel, made think of a Bugs Bunny episode. Why? I t just did. How many of you recall Bugs Bunny? If so then you remember the episode where Bugs, Duffy, and Elmer Fudd are standing in front of a tree arguing what type of hunting season it was, as they where peeling signs of the tree. "Wabbit season, Duck season, wabbit season, duck season", then all of a sudden a picture of Elmer Fudd appeared, "Elmer season", and Bugs and Duffy went after Elmer Fudd, so after seeing all of these political signs all over the various roads, some on trees, some on billboards, and some on posts, I started to laugh thinking about Bugs Bunny and Daffy and Elmer. These politicians are off and running for the upcoming campaign season and the clutter of ugly signs have begun and will stay around long after the elections are over.

THE SNEEZE

THE SNEEZE I think this is awesome!!! They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing .. and the traditional caps, they looked almost .. as grown up as they felt. Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears. This class would NOT pray during the commencements----not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it. The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families. The speeches were nice, but they were routine.....until the final speech received a standing ovation. A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened. All 92 students, every single one of them, ...

TIMES SQUARE ATTEMPTED BOMB ATTACK

The United States Government is not prepared to prevent a terrorist attack on the United States, and protect its citizens from getting killed or injured. The Obama administration was quick to make itself look like they were on top of the situation, but the truth and reality is that if it was not for an everyday citizen, a street vendor, to notice something odd, and notified the police, who knows how many people would have been killed or injured. This is a wake up call for the Obama administration to get on the ball and get its intelligense up to date so we can prevent any future attacks. At the same time, we the people are the frontline in the fight against terrorism. We the people must notice anything odd and inform authorities as soon as poosible. The battle is about to come to our shore and in our backyard, and we need to be ready.
