There is no question that Eric Frein needs to be held accountable for the senseless murder of Trooper Dickson. But there are many dots still not connected, and the ones that are, paint a different picture of the situation. Another thing I heard was that the troopers had switched schedules. So maybe Trooper Dickson was mistaken for trooper Douglas. No matter what, a life lost is sad, especially with kids, that have now become fatherless.
There needs to be an independent investigation. There needs to be an answer as to the root cause of the situation. If Trooper Douglas had something to with this, due to his personal life, outside of his work or uniform, it must be looked at and bring the facts to the public. I know for a fact, via some friends that know Trooper Douglas personally, they solicit the same clubs.
If the unwarranted murder of Trooper Dickson, is due to a personal vendetta, the media needs to take a step back and stop the degrading of survivalists, and stop stating that this shooting was directed at government and law enforcement. For example, we keep hearing Frein wanted to commit mass murder. How was this discovered? Show me the proof. Was it on social media? Was it written down? Or was it spat out in haste to paint a false picture. If this was true, he would have killed many more by now.
Dots are connecting, but many more need to be connected as well and once they do, we will find the root cause. I know I will have much more angry private messages on this, but all I am asking is to take a step back, take a deep breath and open your minds. Sure the murder was wrong, and absolutely Frein must be held accountable. BUT!
